Lacrosse Canada Announces Limited-Edition Trading Cards for Men’s and Women’s Teams from 2024 World Box Lacrosse Championships

Oshawa, ON - Lacrosse Canada, in partnership with TFL SPORTS LLC,is excited to announce the release of licensed, limited-edition trading card sets featuring the men’s and women’s teams that participated in the 2024 World Box Lacrosse Championships held in Utica, New York, from September 20-29. These exclusive trading cards will showcase the athletes who competed in one of the most prestigious events in box lacrosse, with only 500 packs produced for each team (Canada, USA, Haudenosaunee).

The trading card sets will include cards for every player on the roster of the Canada men’s and women’s teams, including rare parallel and autographed cards, which are guaranteed to be included in every pack. 

"Lacrosse is growing both in the number of players and in the collectibles market, and this collaboration brings together the best of both worlds," said Todd Tobias, a lacrosse card specialist and member of TFL SPORTS LLC. "With the growing popularity of lacrosse trading cards, we wanted to create a product that would allow fans to celebrate the top athletes in our game. These cards honor the incredible athletes who competed in the 2024 World Box Lacrosse Championships, and we’re excited to offer fans a piece of history."

TFL SPORTS LLC, a newly formed group of lacrosse professionals, is committed to expanding awareness of the game of lacrosse through unique and collectible products such as this. 

Each limited-edition pack will contain 56 cards, including:

  • A complete 23-card men’s team base set
  • A complete 23-card women’s team base set
  • Men’s team parallel cards
  • Women’s team parallel cards
  • Men’s team autograph cards
  • Women’s team autograph cards

These exclusive trading cards will hold significant value for fans and collectors alike for several reasons. Not only do they represent the first-ever trading cards from the World Box Lacrosse Championship, but they also mark the debut of women’s box lacrosse cards. 

In addition to the base cards, the sets will feature special parallel cards, including Tie Dye, Silver (/10), and Gold (1/1) variations. Autographed cards will feature the following 10 athletes from each of the men’s and women’s teams:

Wes Berg, Josh Byrne, Zach Currier, Christian Del Bianco, Graeme Hossack, Challen Rogers, Nick Rose, Dhane Smith, Jeff Teat, Dillon Ward

Team Canada Women:
Ashley Bull, Katie de Snoo, Dana Dobbie, Erica Evans, Megan Kinna, Kayla Kondo, Jessica Quinn, Olivia Schmidt, Brenna Shanahan, Brooklyn Walker-Welch

The trading card packs will retail for $98.50 and are available for purchase now, with an expected delivery of early December 2025.
