Lacrosse Canada Announces Development Team Tryouts for U15, U17, and U19 Age Groups
East and West Regional Tryouts Set for December
Oshawa, ON - Lacrosse Canada is excited to announce the first-ever Development Team Tryouts for U15, U17, and U19 boys and girls, taking place in both the East and West regions this December. These tryouts will help identify athletes for the newly established Development Teams, a key initiative to foster growth and excellence in lacrosse across Canada. These teams are for field lacrosse.

West Region Tryouts
The West Region tryouts will take place December 21-22, 2024, at Willoughby Community Park, Southeast Synthetic Turf Field, in Langley, BC.
The girls will be on Southeast Field
The boys will be on Southwest Field
East Region Tryouts
The East Region tryouts will be held December 27-28, 2024, in the Durham Region of Ontario, with the field location to be confirmed.
Tryout Details:
“We are excited to launch the Lacrosse Canada Development Team program with these tryouts, which will allow us to identify and develop talented young players across the country,” said Terry Rayner, Executive Director of Lacrosse Canada. “These tryouts will be a critical step in developing the next generation of lacrosse stars and creating a stronger foundation for the sport in Canada.”
Registration Information:
Interested athletes must register in advance for the tryouts. Click the link below to be taken to registration. Registration will close on December 6th. Players must be in good standing with their PSO to attend these try outs.
