Lacrosse Canada Welcomes Ashley Bull Onto Staff

Mar. 05, 2024

Lacrosse Canada is proud to announce Ashley Bull as our new High Performance Coordinator. Ashley has a long history in lacrosse and we are excited to have her on board.

Ashley grew up in Langley, BC where she played both boy’s box lacrosse and boy’s field. After competing with the boys for many years, Ashley moved to the girls box lacrosse program in New Westminster in 2007. She also was introduced to women’s field lacrosse in 2007, a sport that has and continues to open doors for her.

Ashley immediately showed a high level of skill in the field game, and her hard work landed her a scholarship at Canisius in Buffalo, NY. There she would compete for 5 years and leave a strong legacy at Canisius where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness and Master of Science in Sport Administration. Some of her college accomplishments are listed below.

  • 4-time Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Champion
  • 3-time All-MAAC First Team Selection (2013, 2014, 2015)
  • All-MAAC Second Team Selection (2017)

  • Team Captain 2016, 2017 seasons
  • Set a new program standard for career games started (73)
  • Hold the record for Career Draw Controls, Single-Game Draw Controls, and Games Started

Ashley has also represented Canada on the national stage. She was a member of the 2011 U19 Women’s Field Lacrosse Team at only 16 years old that won a bronze medal.

Ashley has now taken to coaching lacrosse in her home province of BC. She is currently in her 10th season coaching BC women’s lacrosse. Here are a few of her coaching accomplishments.
