“We are excited to bring such a strong group of Canadian lacrosse players together for our evaluation camp. It is never an easy process to choose the right players for our national team, and this will be no different,” said Dan Carey, national men’s field program general manager. “We are looking forward to seeing these players come together and compete for a spot on the 2023 Canadian Men’s National Team.”
Canada Red and Canada White will be led by head coaches Matt Brown and Taylor Wray, and assistant coaches Merrick Thomson and Mark Miyashita. Camp will be attended by both veteran players and many making their senior team debut, representing the best across the nation. Three provinces are represented by the 53 athletes. A full list of those who will participate in this showcase can be found at the end of this release.
Lacrosse Canada is excited to welcome fans to the Civic Recreation Complex as we prepare for the return of men’s field lacrosse on the international stage.
The 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s World Championship will take place in San Diego, California, USA, from June 21 to July 1, 2023.
