Ottawa, ON—Lacrosse Canada is proud to announce Allison Daley will make her debut as head coach, leading the development of the U20 women’s field national team for the 2024 World Lacrosse Women's U20 World Championship.

Canada seeks to upgrade their silver medal won in 2019, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic the event has been amended from U19 to U20 to accommodate.

“I am thrilled to have Allison named as the head coach,” said Tami Rayner, the general manager of the national women’s field program.  “Allison's passion, calm and confident approach with athletes combined with her knowledge and expertise make her an exceptional head coach. Lacrosse Canada and the athletes are fortunate to have her leading the team.”

“I am honoured and humbled to be named the U20 Head Coach. I am grateful to represent Lacrosse Canada once again. I would like to thank the hiring committee for their confidence in me to lead Team Canada in 2024.,” Daley said.

“I will work relentlessly to provide the best athlete experience for these young women. I look forward to hiring an incredible staff to help us all reach our goal of bringing another gold medal back to Canada!”
