Limerick, IRE - The U21 men’s field lacrosse team is back in action after a six-year hiatus, and will kick off the competition against the United States on August 10 at 12 p.m. Irish Standard Time (IST).
In late May, World Lacrosse announced that it had reached a landmark agreement with ESPN, granting that entity the global broadcast rights to the World Lacrosse Championships through the end of 2023. A total of 246 games from three international events will be broadcast on ESPN's linear networks or ESPN+ in the United States, on TSN in Canada, and on ESPN International in more than 170 international territories.
All 86 games of the Men’s U21 World Championship will be broadcast, via ESPN or Lax Sports Network. Twenty-two games will be distributed on ESPN+ and via select ESPN international platforms, with two games - a semifinal and the gold medal match - also televised in the United States on ESPNU. The remaining games will be offered globally by Lax Sports Network.

The playoffs will also air on ESPN. The quarter-finals will air August 17 on ESPN+, times to be confirmed. The semi-finals will air the following day on ESPN+. The bronze medal game will air on August 20 at 4:00 pm on ESPN+, while the gold medal game will air on the same day at 7:00 p.m. IST on ESPNU. TSN channels will be announced as they become available.
