Lacrosse Canada adds Marketing Assistant

Jun. 22, 2021

Ottawa, ON - Lacrosse Canada is delighted to announce the addition of Taylor Retter to the team as the marketing assistant.

In this role, Taylor will assist in developing Lacrosse Canada’s brand consistency across all platforms, from social media to national championships. She will also work to increase community engagement, as well as support the planning and execution of gender equity and safe sport initiatives. This position is funded by the Canada Summer Jobs Program.

As a (soon to be double) graduate of Carleton University’s school of journalism, Taylor has spent the past six years telling stories of athletes that go beyond the box score, and will combine those skills with her own playing experience to highlight stories of Canada’s national game.

“Taylor brings fresh ideas and a unique perspective to our team,” said Jane Clapham, Executive Director of Lacrosse Canada. “Her creativity and drive make her an asset to our organization, and we look forward to seeing how she thrives in this role.”

Taylor can be reached at taylor@lacrosse.ca.
