At the Canadian Lacrosse Association’s annual meeting in November, two individuals joined the CLA’s board of directors in new roles.
Paul Magnan, who served on the board of directors for many years as a director at large, will now serve as the Director of Administration.
“I am excited about the new responsibilities I will have on the Canadian Lacrosse Association board. I believe my previous experience on the board and my experience as being an administrator in the education system for the past 28 years will be an asset,” said Paul Magnan. “The Creator has provided us with a game that is played coast to coast in our great country. I cannot wait for all of us to be able to get back at it.”
Norman McGuirk, president of PEI Lacrosse, has joined the board as a Director at Large.
“Please join me in welcoming Norman McGuirk to the board, who will bring valuable representation from the east coast to our board of directors. As well, Paul Magnan has a demonstrated history of involvement with the CLA and I am confident he will excel in this new role,” said Shawn Williams, president of the Canadian Lacrosse Association. “I also want to express a sincere thanks to outgoing director of administration, Chuck Miller, who has been a dedicated member of the CLA board for many years.”
Tami Rayner was elected for a second term as Athlete Director. Jason Donville will stay on the board of directors as the acting Director of High Performance and International Relations.
