Lacrosse Canada Seeks Manager of Finance and Revenue Operations
Ontario, Canada - [January 7, 2025] - Lacrosse Canada is excited to announce a job opening for the position of Manager of Finance and Revenue Operations. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to join Lacrosse Canada at a pivotal moment in its growth.
As the Manager of Finance and Revenue Operations, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving Lacrosse Canada's financial sustainability, enhancing revenue streams, and supporting key initiatives to grow the sport of lacrosse across Canada. Reporting to the Executive Director, this individual will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, operational management, and business development efforts while collaborating with internal teams, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
The Manager of Finance and Revenue Operations will play a vital role in supporting Lacrosse Canada's mission to promote, develop, and preserve lacrosse as Canada’s national sport. With the inclusion of Sixes lacrosse in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, this position will be integral to shaping the organization’s future growth and success on both national and international stages.
Qualifications:
Lacrosse Canada is the national governing body for the sport of lacrosse in Canada, representing over 70,000 athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers across 10 provincial and one Indigenous association. The organization is committed to increasing participation, improving performance at the international level, and preserving lacrosse’s heritage as Canada’s national sport. The organization has eight full-time staff members dedicated to operations, administration, marketing, partnerships, communications, athletic and technical development, and the highly qualified coaches operating the National teams. It is governed by an elected independent Board of Directors.
Location: Oshawa, Ontario (Hybrid work environment)
Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits, commensurate with experience.
