Scott Teeter, Head Coach (Shelburne, ON)
Scott Teeter, a resident of Louisville, Kentucky and current head coach of the University of Louisville's women's lacrosse team, will return as head coach of Canada's Senior women's field team. In this role, he has led Canada to a silver medal performance at the 2017 World Championship in Guildford, England.
Prior to moving to Kentucky, Teeter spent 14 years as the head coach at Canisius College, where he led the program to Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2017. He served as an assistant coach at Buffalo State College in 2002 and as a student-assistant coach and team manager for Canisius from 1998-2002.
As an athlete, Teeter was a four-year letter-winner for the Canisius College hockey team, graduating with a bachelor's degree in physical education in 2002 and a master's degree in physical education (with a concentration in sport psychology and coaching) in 2004. His lacrosse background started in his hometown of Shelburne, Ontario, where he played field lacrosse for his high school and box lacrosse for the nearby Orangeville Northmen.
Gary Gait, Associate Head Coach (Victoria, BC)
Gary Gait, a well-known name in Canadian lacrosse, has previously served as the head of the Canadian women's field lacrosse program. Currently the head coach of Syracuse University's men's lacrosse team, where he is also an alumnus, Gait's accolades include every major title: three NCAA titles, three NLL titles, three MLL titles, three Mann Cups, a Heritage and Minto Cup, and the 2006 World Championship.
Gait donned the maple leaf for Team Canada at five world championships, bringing home three silver medals and the 2006 gold. Since 2003, he has coached several Canadian national teams.
Caitlin Watkins, Assistant Coach (Garden City, NY)
Caitlin Defliese Watkins returns as an assistant coach with the SRWNT. Currently an assistant coach with the Syracuse University women's lacrosse team, Watkins previously served as the associate head coach of Stony Brook University, molding the unranked program into a Top 10 one.
A four-year letter winner at Boston University, she earned her bachelor's degree in health and rehabilitation.
Allison Daley, Assistant Coach (Peterborough, ON)
Allison Daley makes her debut as an assistant coach of the SRWNT, after previous stints with the U19 WNT. The University of Louisville assistant coach appeared as goaltender for Canada in the 2017 Women's World Championship and World Games.
Daley played and served as an assistant coach for Scott Teeter at her alma mater, Canisius College. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology and her master's in sport administration.
Tami Rayner, Assistant Coach (Oshawa, ON)
Tami Rayner returns as part of the SRWNT, having coached both the senior and U-19 teams previously. An alumna of the program, she has competed in both world championships and world cups.
A long-time head coach with the U-19 Team Ontario women's field program, Rayner holds bachelor's degrees in psychology and elementary education, as well as a master's in educational leadership.
Jason Levesque, Assistant Coach (St. Catharine's, ON)
Jason Levesque joins the women's program after nearly a decade as an assistant coach with Canadian national men's teams. Currently the head coach of the women's lacrosse program at St. Bonaventure University, he has guided Team Canada to a number of gold and silver medals.
A Canisius alum, he led his team to their first two conference tournament berths in program history.
